Editor’s Notes

by Jude Garza Bunao

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the inaugural edition of the KKPM Scribe!

The Editorial board and I couldn't be more thrilled to have made it to this point! This newsletter intends to keep you all up-to-date on the KKPM activities. The Scribe would enable us to highlight stories, celebrate each other's milestones, triumphs and specia occasions, and at the same time, promote and uphold ourrich Filipino heritage, culture, customs and traditions.

In this first issue, we are esteemed to share the contributions of so many talented and committed KKPM members, young and the young-atheart alike.

Truly, it is a fun way to stay in touch with our KKPM family and to feature the contributions of our members and how they make a difference in the communities around us.

This is dedicated to all of you who have contributed in nurturing the KKPM into what it is today.

In line with this, allow me to share with you how my family won the 2016 Make a Difference Educational Scholarship sponsored by the ACCU (Alliance Catholic Credit Union), where we detailed our involvement and service to the community. Part of our involvement is through our volunteer work at our children's school and how we support its community projects,. Another part is through our active participation in our children's Girl Scout Troop 70139. But the large part of our community service is through our involvement in the KKPM. We are proud bona fide members of the KKPM.

In closing, I have high hopes that this newsletter will go a long way.

Once again, I, togetherwith the Editorial board, thank all of you who have contributed eagerly towards the success of this first edition of The Scribe.

Remember, your views, suggestions, stories and feedback are always welcome!

Please join us on this amazing journey!

I welcome you on board.Ω
